Hello, I am in the process of doing a complete renovation of the house my partner and I bought. The interior walls consist entirely of particleboard that is fastened with nails and glue to the studs. When I've removed the particleboards, remnants are left on the studs, as shown in the attached images. I've tried removing the particleboard remnants with a chisel and hammer, reciprocating saw, and multitool, but all these dig into the stud too much. How do I remove the remnants of the particleboard from the stud without damaging the wood too much?

  • Close-up of particleboard remnants stuck to a wooden stud, surrounded by insulation, showing challenges in removing the remnants without damaging the wood.
Great, thanks for the reply!
