Exterior gypsum board, how to seal the joints
I am in the process of covering the frame with exterior gypsum. Over time, the house will be bricked with façade stone. It might take half a year before the masonry is finished. I plan to tape the exterior gypsum seams, but I don't like the tape. I suspect it will come loose long before the house is bricked. Are there alternatives, can silicone or something else sticky be used to seal the seams? The tape might be good, does anyone know?

No, but then you have a framework behind, right?
There you might use duct tape, but we usually don't..
Just make sure the panels are tight and nice, and it'll be fine..
The profiles should be where there is no framework behind.
