Hello!

We have a wall made of ytong that is approximately 2.4 m high and 9 m wide. It is built on a reinforced concrete footing and reinforced with reinforced concrete columns at the beginning, middle, and end of the wall (thus three columns evenly distributed over about 9 m). We now need to backfill against this wall with about 1.2 m of crushed rock + gravel, which will be compacted so that a pool foundation can be cast there. Will the wall withstand the pressure during compaction, or do we need to reinforce it further in some way from the inside?

If this is necessary, what is the absolute cheapest and most effective option?

Thankful for a response!
