Hello!
For the support of a load-bearing inner wall, I have purchased a glulam beam (115 x 315mm). Conveniently, I found a used one with the right dimensions.
Upon close inspection, I see that it has cracks. According to the seller, it has been stored in a barn for several years.
Should I dare to use this one, or should I order a new one?

When sizing wood beams, a certain amount of cracking in the cross-section is accounted for, in addition to several safety factors. Otherwise, I don't think it looks too dangerous.
