Hello

Does anyone have tips on how to temporarily convert a regular railing into a "real" wall by the stairs without damaging the railing?

I'm considering attaching some form of thin studs + drywall on one side and perhaps hardboard on the other side where I can't build too many mm because of the stairs, filling the cavity with insulation.

Are there simpler, more convenient ways to do this, do you think?

I set up a low trellis with 12 mm MDF, screwed directly on.

Saw into rule bits that you position between the trellis boards and then screw boards into the rule bits from both sides. They then hold each other around the trellis. If you then want to have the trellis back, just unscrew one board and then lift aside the other board and the rules.
