Hello! I'm a complete beginner and thinking of trying to build a wall myself according to the following sketch, similar to the neighbor's (same height or one level lower), and build a privacy screen with two ground posts/concrete plinths. The plan is to raise the soil inside and slightly increase the ground level so the slope doesn't become so pronounced, and then roll out grass. I plan to make two flower beds with something fun in them =)

-How would you do the groundwork? i.e. dig out, lay down fabric -> gravel -> compact -> stone dust? compact?
-How would you handle the existing slope, dig deeper toward the house and level the base horizontally / two horizontal steps? (there's probably around 1/2 meter difference...)
-Important steps to be careful with?
-I welcome all tips and tricks! =)
