I'm considering a townhouse. It has 2 floors.
10 townhouses in a row. The construction year is 1994.
Wood panels on the back and front.
A silly question. Shouldn't there be concrete blocks under the panels on both sides? Between each townhouse, is it also concrete?
Regarding fire safety, is it the same as with apartments in multi-family houses? Or is there a greater fire risk in townhouses if built with concrete?

There doesn't need to be concrete between the houses. The foundation of fire protection is ensuring you can exit the building before the fire spreads between fire cells, and the building collapses over you. So there can be other types of firewalls, such as wooden studs and plasterboard, that stop the fire for 60 minutes.

That's why you periodically see in the press that entire rows of terraced houses have been lost to the flames. Example of a 70s row in Kungsängen - Upplands Bro that recently burned down:
