Hi, I'm wondering if I'm thinking correctly here when I want to close off the area under the stairs for storage underneath? The idea is to build a wall along the staircase and another wall running along the hallway, where a door will be installed.

The distance from the existing hallway wall to where the stairs start is only 95 cm. Is it even possible to have a 7x21 door there? Are there any other options? Has anyone done something similar?

Hello. The width of the frame is 7dm, so there shouldn't be any problem with installing a door there. Place one side of the frame directly against the wall, and there will be good space to build a wall instead of the staircase railing. I saw that the question was asked some time ago. Is it maybe already resolved?

Hello, I eventually came to the same reasoning myself, but since it got a bit too tight in the hallway, we have decided not to have a door there. Thank you for your response.
