Hello
I am going to cast a countertop for my laundry room and want it to be freely supported between 2 built-up sides.
The span is about 1.8m.
The load it can be exposed to is, of course, someone weighing 100kg jumping up and sitting in the middle of the slab.
I was thinking of reinforcing it with mesh or alternatively thicker iron but became a bit worried about what is needed for it to handle the span.
Can someone help me?
My spontaneous thought is 60-80 mm thick slab
Grateful for quick help
