Calculate loads/replace load-bearing wall with beam

Anyone who is skilled at calculating loads, etc.? I saw that Justusandersson sadly passed away last year; I have thoroughly read his posts but unfortunately, I'm too slow to calculate this myself.
Anyway, I want to open up the wall between the kitchen and living room. 7.3-7.4m. I'm a little flexible.
Enclosed are the drawings, some own loads, and such are listed.
What is marked in red should be removed.
Now the question is, how big a beam is needed? Steel or glulam. But I guess it will be steel since I roughly estimate based on what I've seen elsewhere in the forum that it will probably require something like HEA 200+.
Preferably, I would like to have this on 2 supports so it's open, but I'm not completely opposed to a pillar in the middle if it significantly reduces the beam dimensions.
But I've tried to google and browse the forum for how to calculate this, and I'm lost. Addition! The roof today is made of tiles and then some masonite or similar. I want to replace it in the future with raw planks, felt, and tiles. I think the weight will increase then.
Regards!
Yes, he was very knowledgeable that man.B Brejj said:[image] [image] [image] [image] Hi!

Anyway, I want to open up the wall between the kitchen and the living room. 7.3-7.4m. I am flexible to some extent. Attaching the drawings, with some self-weight and such noted. The part marked in red should be removed.
Now the question is, how thick a beam is needed? Steel or glulam. But I guess it will be steel as I speculate based on what I've seen in other places here in the forum that it will probably require an HEA 200+.
Ideally, I want to have this on 2 supports so it's open, but I'm not COMPLETELY opposed to a pillar in the middle if it considerably reduces the beam's dimension. But I've tried Googling and looking in the forum on how to calculate this but I'm lost. Note! The roof today is made of tiles and then some masonite or similar. I want to change it in the future to raw boards, paper, and tiles. I'm thinking the weight will increase then.
Best regards!
Then you can input all the values here https://www.byggbeskrivningar.se/dimensionering/med-meny/?cid=931
So you can at least get which wooden beam is relevant.
but at 5000mm it seems to require 630mm on glue-laminated timber with 10mm "flex". So glue-laminated timber is probably ruled out. Might be a steel beam with 3 supports.T Tompafix said:
