I was wondering if I could get some help calculating what is required for a beam to remove part of the load-bearing wall.
The house is a one-story with a basement.
The width of the house is 8m, 21-degree roof pitch, gable roof, snow zone 3, the roof consists of plywood, felt, and metal.
I would like the opening to be 5.2m.
