Hello

This is a house we are considering bidding on, however, one of the disadvantages is the small kitchen and we would like to open it up to the living room. It looks like there might have been a passage on the drawing, but is it possible to remove the wall by looking at the drawing, or should an on-site expert be consulted (see yellow marking for the wall we wish to remove)
Blueprints of a house showing ground and upper floor plans with a yellow-highlighted wall in the kitchen area for potential removal discussion. Floor plan showing a house layout with highlighted wall near the kitchen considered for removal to open the space towards the living room.

I cannot see how section A-A goes, but it undoubtedly looks load-bearing considering the core wall in the basement.

The wall is guaranteed to be load-bearing, upper floor, cold attic and roof. Since it is a board house, there is some work involved in transferring the wall. Expect 3-inch boards and 15 mm plaster and thatching on each side. I would first consider whether instead you can let certain room functions switch places? The benefit of such a swap naturally depends on the house's orientation in relation to the compass points.
