An annoying gap in the floor, how to fix it?
I have a wood veneer floor from the brand Golvabia throughout the apartment.
It's perfect everywhere except right outside a door where there is a gap of 3-4 mm.
It's visible and extremely annoying :S
How do I fix this?
One option, of course, is to remove the entire baseboard, adjust the plank, and then put the baseboard back again.
The downside of that is that I will likely cause damage to the baseboard, the wall, or both, which means painting, sealing, painting again, etc. (i.e., a lot of work).
Any other tips on how I can adjust the plank slightly? Any tool that could help me?
See attached images.
Image 1 is of the actual gap.
Image 2 is the gap from a bit further away, where you can see that the floorboard goes all the way to the wall (sorry for the blurry picture).

Either mix shavings of the floor material and wood glue, or fill with wood putty.
First, test
Screw a sturdy block and then either hit or pry with a crowbar against the wall into the gap if it's not a glued floor, and fill the holes from the screws which should be block + floor thickness.. long.

Sounds very advanced and like it could easily lead to damage and extra work.Koste said:
